Agro fuels, like biodiesel and ethanol, are derived from plant-based sources, making them a renewable alternative to fossil fuels.
Burning agro fuels releases less carbon dioxide (CO₂) compared to conventional petroleum-based fuels, helping to combat climate change.
Many agro fuels, like biodiesel and ethanol, can be blended with conventional fuels and used in existing vehicles with little.
Unlike petroleum-based fuels, agro fuels are biodegradable and less harmful to the environment in case of spillages and waste.
Welcome to Karnataka Agro Fuels, We are the first bio Diesel plant in Karnataka, a trusted name in sustainable and eco-friendly energy solutions. We are committed to providing high-quality biofuels derived from agricultural waste and renewable sources, contributing to a greener and cleaner environment.
At Karnataka Agro Fuels, we believe in harnessing the power of nature to create efficient, cost-effective, and eco-conscious fuel alternatives. Our products are designed to reduce carbon emissions, promote sustainable agriculture, and support rural economies by creating opportunities for farmers and local communities.
With a strong focus on innovation and quality, we ensure that our biofuels meet industry standards while delivering superior performance for various industrial and domestic applications. Our mission is to drive a sustainable energy revolution by making biofuels more accessible and promoting a cleaner future for generations to come.
Rudolph Diesel himself developed biodiesel in 1890, wherein pure vegetable oils were used in diesel engines for agriculture, where petroleum diesel was not available. Modern biodiesel fuel is an outcome of research conducted 1930s in Belgium, which is made by converting vegetable oils into compounds called fatty acid methyl esters. The process of transesterification was used to convert vegetable oils into fatty acid alkyl esters and use as diesel fuel replacement with lower viscosity of vegetable oil. Biodiesel is the trade name of fatty acid methyl esters. Concerns over environment, energy security and use of agro products brought the use of vegetable oils to the forefront
The biodiesel industry became a household name in U.S. after the terrorist attack of 9/11/2001, resulting in high oil prices. Biodiesel is being used Worldwide now, due to concerns over Global warming. The future of biodiesel lies in the world's ability to produce renewable feedstocks such as vegetable oils and fats to keep the cost of biodiesel competitive with petroleum.
